Each young man is exposed to various trades and given the opportunity (when available and appropriate) to aquire skills that will enable him to better provide for himself in the future.
Our work program includes weekly apprenticeships, daily chores, and periodic community service work.
Apprenticeships
Twice a week, each student works hand-in-hand with an area business as an apprentice, learning a trade skill. We currently offer 25 different trade options as apprenticeships.
House Chores
Our work program includes daily chores (cleaning, cooking, gardening, and even baking homemade bread).
Service Work
Students who do not yet have apprenticeships work on community service tasks. Periodically, the entire Future Men organization joins in on large community projects.
